This program celebrates the 100th birthday of George
Balanchine and Ravinia Park.
The Joffrey Ballet commemorates the centennial by
bringing three of Balanchine’s ballets back to the stage
(designed by Balanchine himself) of the Ravinia Park
Pavilion. This program marks the Ravinia premiere of
Balanchine’s Square Dance.
