Bells

Choreography: Yuri Possokhov
Music: Sergei Rachmaninoff

Designed as a meditation on the nature of relationships, Bells exemplifies Possokhov’s ability to blend traditional classicism with modern intensity to create a riveting piece of contemporary ballet. This was the first commission by Yuri Possokhov for The Joffrey Ballet.

 

Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rite of Spring)

Choreography: Vaslav Nijinsky
Music: Igor Stravinsky

The villagers search for the chosen one in this story of ancient pagan rituals. Causing audiences to riot when it was first staged, Sacre stands as one of the most magnificent musical and dance masterpieces of all time.
