Aaron Rogers

Aaron Rogers joined The Joffrey Ballet as an Arpino Apprentice in 2004 and was promoted to the company in 2006. Born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Elgin Illinois, he trained at the Dance Theatre of Elgin with Margaret Palmer, Dixon Dance Academy under Cathy Dixon, and the Faubourg School of Ballet with Watmora Casey. Mr. Rogers also attended the Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts, where he danced works by Daniel Ezralow, Margo Sappington, Alan Hineline, and Christian Holder.

 

Mr. Rogers’ repertoire includes Cinderella (Jester), Giselle (Peasant Pas De Deux), Tarantella, Waterbaby Bagatelles (Lead Man, Quartet Man), Othello (Cassio), Carousel (friend), Cloven Kingdom, The Green Table, Le Sacre du Printemps, Square Dance, The Nutcracker, Viva Vivaldi, and Light Rain. He has also performed in works created on the Joffrey by Edwaard Liang, Jessica Lang, James Kudelka, and Donald Byrd.
