The Joffrey Ballet is proud to announce that The PrivateBank will be its Corporate Partner for the Grand Opening Affair of The Joffrey Tower. In kicking off this partnership, The Joffrey
Ballet and The PrivateBank have joined together with Harry Winston to open the celebrated jeweler’s new Oak Street boutique.
The Grand Opening Affair for The Joffrey Tower will take place upon the completion of the Joffrey Tower, which is anticipated to occur in the Summer of 2008. This Affair will include a black-tie
dinner, performance by vocalist Shelley MacArthur and jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis, live auction and after-party – all within the exquisite confines of The Joffrey Tower, which will be a cornerstone
in Chicago’s Theater District.
The Joffrey Ballet will take possession of some 45,000 square feet in The Joffrey Tower, a new Smithfield Properties development at 8 East Randolph. The building will serve as a permanent
location for the city’s most compelling dance company, giving rise to the artists of tomorrow through training, mentoring and educating young audiences and dancers. The classical ballet company
will reside on the third and fourth floors, to include administrative offices and seven state-of-the-art rehearsal studios, including a black-box theater.
