Ms. Garza was featured in Gerald Arpinos CONFETTI where she was
partnered by her husband, Ernesto Quenedit. In Robert Joffreys THE NUTCRACKER she
danced both the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the divertissment, Chocolate from Spain.
Among many major ballets in which Ms. Garza performed during seven
years dancing professionally in Mexico were SWAN LAKE, GISELLE, PAQUITA, THE NUTCRACKER
and ALLEGRO BRILLANTE. She has toured extensively throughout Latin America, Mexico and the
United States, and in 1996, was an invited guest artist at a major gala in the Dominican
Republic, where she danced COPPELIA with other principal dancers from throughout the
world.
Ms. Garza studied ballet for eight years (1982-90) at the Instituto
Nacional de Bellas Artes in Monterey, Mexico.
