CRANK
joined
The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago in August of 1999.
She was a student at The Joffrey Ballet School from 1988 – 1989.
Prior
to joining The Joffrey Ballet, Ms. Crank performed with the Oregon Ballet
Theatre, where, she worked with many emerging American contemporary
choreographers. While at the
Oregon Ballet Theatre, Ms. Crank’s roles included, Odette in Act II of
Swan Lake, the Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and Lady
Capulet in Romeo and Juliet. She
was also a member of the Cincinnati Ballet, performing such roles as, the
Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Pas De Deux in Agon, and Micaela in
Carmen.
Ms.
Crank’s ballet training began at the Classical Ballet Center of Tampa in
Florida with Haydee Gutierrez. In
addition, she studied at the San Francisco Ballet School and studied
Spanish Flamenco with Jose Molina and modern dance with Josie Mosely.
