Erin Smith Fasanati began her ballet training at the age of five in her hometown of Boynton Beach, Florida. She danced for eleven years at Southern Dance Theatre in Boynton Beach, then attended the Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton. She has also studied with Ballet Florida.
She attended the Joffrey Ballet School in 1999 and 2000, and has participated in the Joffrey Summer Workshop in Flint, Michigan. Joining the Joffrey as an Arpino Apprentice in the fall of 2000, Erin was promoted to full company member in the fall of 2002. With the Joffrey, Erin has danced roles in Billy the Kid, Les Présages, Le Sacre du Printemps, Les Noces, Italian Suite, and Tensile Involvement.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys cooking and spending time with her new husband, Charles Fasanati. They were married January 4, 2003.
