Brooklyn Mack joined The Joffrey Ballet in August 2004 as an Arpino Apprentice.
Mr. Mack began his training at the age of 12 on full scholarship with The Pavlovich Dance School at the Columbia Classical Ballet Company in Columbia, South Carolina under the tutorage of Radenko Pavlovich and Milena Leben. By his second year, he was made an apprentice with Columbia Classical Ballet and had many roles created on him.
In 2001, before the beginning of his third year with Columbia Classical Ballet, Mr. Mack was accepted on full scholarship to the Universal Ballet Academy (Formerly the Kirov Academy of Ballet.) At the Academy, he studied under Anatoli Kucheruk, Vladimir Djouloukadze, Alla Sizova, Ludmila Morkovina, and Jacqueline Akhmedova.
Mr. Mack has been a guest soloist artist at the Saparro City Ballet in Japan and Ballet Clasico de Nina Novak in Venezuela. He has also performed with the Boston Ballet, New York City Ballet, and Paris Opera Ballet. Mr. Mack reunited with the Columbia Classical Ballet Company in Radenko Pavlovichs´ Life Chance 2004.
During his time with The Joffrey, Mr. Mack has appeared in Le Sacre du Printemps and The Nutcracker.
Aside from dancing Mr. Mack is an animal enthusiast who enjoys playing football, soccer, basketball, reading, watching television and movies, listening to music, and being with friends. He ultimately aspires to leave an indelible mark upon the dance world and beyond.
