Dallas Lundquist joined The Joffrey Ballet in August 2004.

Mr. Lundquist was born in Tokyo, Japan, and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He received his academic education from the University of Texas at Austin with double majors in Communications and French. Mr. Lundquist started dancing at the age of 18 and studied at the Joffrey Summer Workshops in San Antonio and New York City.

Prior to joining The Joffrey, Mr. Lundquist enjoyed dancing principal roles in La Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Don Quixote, Giselle, Coppelia, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker. Mr. Lundquist also has an extensive list of George Balanchine ballets in his repertoire including Square Dance, The Four Temperaments, Symphony in C, Scotch Symphony, Donizetti Variations, Prodigal Son, Monumentum Pro Gesualdo, Slaughter on 10th Avenue, La Sonnambula, Divertimento No. 15, Serenade, Who Cares?, and Allegro Brilliante.

Mr. Lundquist has also danced for the Sacramento Ballet, Alabama Ballet, the Suzanne Farrell Ballet, and the New York Metropolitan Opera.

During his time with The Joffrey, Mr. Lundquist has performed in Le Sacre du Printemps, Petrouchka, Square Dance and The Nutcracker.
