Britta Lazenga

Britta Lazenga joined The Joffrey Ballet in August 2000 as one of the first Arpino Apprentices and became a full company member in 2001.
Originally from Minnesota, she began her training in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and later moved back to Minneapolis where she studied under Bonnie Mathis. Ms. Lazenga graduated from the Harid Conservatory in 2000.
Ms. Lazenga has performed various roles in Apollo, Creative Force, I/DNA, Italian Suite, Les Patineurs, Light Rain, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Suite Saint-Saens, Taming of the Shrew, Viva Vivaldi, A Wedding Bouquet. She also appeared in Robert Altman´s 2003 film, “The Company.”
In her spare time, Ms. Lazenga enjoys reading, cooking, yoga, traveling, karaoke, watching sports, and spending time with her friends. She would like to thank her mom and brother – without their support, her dreams would not have been possible.
