Jonathan Dummar joined The Joffrey Ballet in August 2005. Mr. Dummar began his ballet training at the age of ten before attending the Pacific Northwest Ballet School. In 2001, he received the distinguished Rudolf Nureyev Foundation Scholarship and went on to graduate valedictorian of his class from The Harid Conservatory.

Prior to joining The Joffrey Ballet, Mr. Dummar danced two seasons with Ballet Memphis. He has performed in Cinderella, Balanchine’s Serenade, Trey McIntyre’s Grace and High Lonesome, Petipa’s Raymonda and LaBayadere, Julia Adam’s Crossing, and Mark Godden’s Angels in the Architecture.

His other interests include choreographing, singing, reading, and rollerblading.
