Kimberly Bleich joined The Joffrey Ballet as an Arpino Apprentice in August 2005. Born and raised in Chicago, she began her ballet training at the age of 11, receiving instruction from the Faubourg School of Ballet and Dancenter North. During this time she also performed with the Schaumburg Dance Ensemble in The Nutcracker, Peter and the Wolf, and Snow White.

Prior to joining The Joffrey Ballet, Ms. Bleich received her diploma from the North Carolina School of the Arts on scholarship. She performed in The Nutcracker, Symphony Concertante, La Bayadere, Don Quixote, and Peter and the Wolf. She has also attended summer intensives at the School of American Ballet, North Carolina School of the Arts, American Ballet Theater, and at the Houston Ballet on full scholarship.

Her other interests include shopping, traveling, listening to music, and being with friends.
