Heather Aagard

Heather Aagard joined The Joffrey Ballet in July 2001.
Born and raised in Sandy, Utah, she trained at the Ballet West Conservatory, Pacific Northwest Ballet School and Houston Ballet School. Prior to joining The Joffrey Ballet, Ms. Aagard performed with Ballet West as a trainee and in the Professional Division of Pacific Northwest Ballet.
Since joining The Joffrey Ballet, Ms. Aagard has performed roles in Birthday Variations, The Clowns, Confetti, Dark Elegies, Italian Suite, Kettentanz, The Nutcracker (Clara), L’Apres Midi D’Un Faune, Laurencia Pas d’Action, Le Sacre Du Printemps, Petrouchka, Square Dance, Suite Saint Saëns, The Taming of the Shrew (Bianca), Viva Vivaldi, and George Balanchine’s Tarantella. She has appeared as a guest artist in Olympia Ballet’s (Olympia, Washington) production of Giselle.
Ms. Aagard’s other interests include cooking, hiking, outdoor activities, and participating in her church group.
