Recommended Adult Open Division Attire
The following is recommended attire for adult students. There is no required attire for adults.
Ballet Classes
Women
Leotard, tights, pink ballet slippers, close fitting clothing (i.e. shorts, pants, skirts) that allows the dancer to feel comfortable, and allows for proper instruction
Hair must be pulled back
Recommended: Canvas split sole ballet slippers,
Men
Fitted t-shirt, black footed tights, black shoes, close fitting clothing (shorts or pants) that allows the dancer to feel comfortable, and allows for proper instruction
Attire for Jazz/Tap
Women
Solid colored leotard, black jazz pants, close fitting clothing (i.e. shorts, pants, skirts) that allows the dancer to feel comfortable, and allows for proper instruction, jazz/tap shoes
Men
Solid colored shirt, black jazz pants, jazz/tap shoes
General Attire Reminders:
• Uniforms should be kept clean and neat. Holes and frayed edges must be mended.
• Long hair should be pulled up securely, a neat bun is required.
• Watches, jewelry and safety pins should not be worn into the studio.
• Dance shoes should never be worn outside the building.
