Les Noces

Performed to critical acclaim by The Joffrey in the past, see a new generation of dancers in this riveting ballet! Les Noces, with its vast chorus, explores the timeless rituals
of a peasant wedding. The piece was created by Nijinska, the first female Principal Choreographer of Les Ballets Russes.

Originally created for Joffrey Ballet artistic director Ashley C. Wheater, this lyrical ballet transforms love letters into dance with intimate pas de deux and solos reflecting the tenderness

Round of Angels
Choreography by Gerald Arpino
Music by Gustav Mahler
Round of Angels was inspired in part by an etching entitled, “Ronde d’Anges,” by Cavaliere d’Arpino and is set to the haunting Adagietto from Mahler’s Fifth
Symphony. This emotional ballet set against a starry sky features a couple, destined to part, surrounded by five broken-winged male angels.

The brilliantly talented Christopher Wheeldon’s Carousel (a Dance)is a great addition to the Joffrey Ballet repertoire. The ballet brings us to the fairground
