SPONSORSHIPS

Now in its 15th year, the Nutcracker Family Dinner is an essential fundraising event for the ballet’s productions as well as the Joffrey's Community Engagement efforts, which are dedicated to sharing the art of dance with thousands of children each year, regardless of income. The Joffrey’s Bridge Program provides ballet-based classes to first and second graders in twelve Chicago Public Schools located in some of Chicago’s most poverty stricken areas. Learning objectives focus not only on the basics of ballet, but also on the fine arts, French language as it relates to ballet and everyday living, and social and emotional growth. Talented students from this program are invited to participate in the Joffrey Academy of Dance on full scholarship; and, we are pleased to announce, three students from the Bridge Program will be performing with The Joffrey Ballet on stage at the Auditorium Theatre in this season’s performance of The Nutcracker!
