Committees

The Parents’ Association has three Committees – Marketing, Events and Volunteer. Terri Franklin serves as the Lead Parent for the Parents’ Association this year and we thank her, as well as all of our Parent Leads and active members, for all their time and effort in making the Association such a success!


Marketing

The Marketing and Communications Committee is responsible for promoting the Joffrey Ballet and Joffrey Academy of Dance in new and creative ways, sharing information about programs and performances, and promoting a positive and encouraging environment within the Academy.

Events

The events committee is responsible for planning and producing events for students and families of the Joffrey Academy. These events will include entertainment and education as well as incorporating resources throughout the city. The events committee will also coordinate service programs for students to promote giving back. Events Committee

Volunteer

The Volunteer Committee is made up of parents who would like to help at events, performances, and programs of the Joffrey Academy and Parents’ Association. Volunteers can share their time in many different ways, including staffing events, costume and sewing assistance, performance support and more!

Database Project

In an effort to reach new markets and continue to promote classes, programs and performances to new groups around Chicago, the Marketing Committee is working on a Database Project. With the help of all of the families in the Academy, we hope to compile a list of schools, groups and organizations that are affiliated with our families of where we can promote the Joffrey Academy and start new collaborations around the city. If you would like to share contact information about a group, school or organization that you are involved in, please email us at reception [at] joffrey [dot] org with the following categories:
