Joffrey Ballet Holds Art Sale

Get the opportunity to purchase some finely selected artwork while
helping support Chicago's esteemed Joffrey Ballet at the Pointe of Departure Art sale on Thursday, February 10.

Put on by the Joffrey Auxiliary Board—the affiliate group comprised of
Joffrey supporters under the age of 40—the fundraiser will combine a
live and silent auction, artwork, gourmet fare by none other than
Wolfgang Puck and a night of dancing and cocktailing with Joffrey
dancers.

A cocktail reception begins at 6pm and the live auction begins at
7:30pm at the exclusive Archisesto design showroom in the West Loop. The artwork for sale--Inspired by a dancer's pointe shoe—will include
30 featured works by both up-and-coming and noteworthy artists that have been commissioned specifically for this event.

Tickets for this special event are $40 in advance or you can also buy
them at the door for $55. All the proceeds from the evening will go
towards the Joffrey Ballet.

Point of Departure will be the first large fundraiser headed by The
 Joffrey Auxiliary Board.
