Auditions under way for Joffrey's 'Nutcracker'

September 16, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Auditions are under way for the Joffrey Ballet's performance of The Nutcracker.

Dozens of young dancers from Chicago and beyond showed up to land roles.

More than a hundred will be cast.

This year marks 25th production of the classic Christmas for the Chicago dance company.

Performances start on December 7 and end later that month.
