The Joffrey Ballet, located in our new permanent home Joffrey Tower in the heart of the Chicago theater district, is a world-class ballet company and dance education organization committed to artistic excellence and innovation, presenting a unique repertoire encompassing masterpieces of the past and forward-thinking works.  The Joffrey is dedicated to providing arts education and accessible dance training through its Academy of Dance and Community Engagement programs.  We strive to bring the best of dance to the broadest and most diverse audiences.

Our varied repertoire of classic and new works help the Joffrey to retain and attract the most talented dancers, raising the “barre” to not only meet but to exceed the high expectations that Joffrey audiences have set for us.  However, there is a significant cost to this ambitious programming.  Ticket sales cover less than half of our operating expenses.  That is why we turn to you, our loyal patrons, to ask for your support for the mission that you believe in and we strive for everyday.  Your support of the Joffrey ensures that we can continue to offer the most exciting performances and outstanding programs that enrich the community and add to the cultural vibrancy of the city of Chicago.
