Los Angeles Summer Dance Intensive, 3-week program

2013 Program Dates: July 29 – August 16

The Los Angeles Summer Dance Intensive is a three week intensive designed for the serious ballet student, ages 9 to 13 and over. Daily classes include ballet technique, pointe, variations, and classical and contemporary repertoire. The program will also include weekly enrichment classes such as modern, jazz, body conditioning, character, dance history, improvisation, Pilates, and Yoga.

Classes will be taught by The Joffrey Ballet’s Artistic Staff and Joffrey Academy Faculty. This intensive culminates with a presentation to showcase everything the students have learned.

2013 Program Fees:

Audition Fee: $30 (online in advance) /$35 (day-of) /$40 (DVD)
Registration Fee: $100
Tuition (includes lunches): $1,600
Room and Board (includes breakfast and dinner): $2,350
Activities Fee: TBD
